  Contract: Full time Permanent (Hybrid working available)

  We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a talented Senior Laravel PHP developer to join our clients
  small team based near Scarborough. The company is continually growing and can offer excellent
  opportunities within the business, you will be based on site with a small passionate team. The role is full
  time, and the working hours are 9am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday with optional working from home on
  Tuesdays and Thursdays unless requested otherwise by the Head of Development.
  Main Duties:
   Help to develop new tools or functions for the wide range of company websites, apps and in-
  house tools.
   Maintain and evolve existing systems and play a large role in decisions around how to execute
  stakeholder requests to consider performance, scale, and best practice.
   Enhance and expand the APIs that power the company’s internal systems and apps.
   Implement best practice web and server security to further protect the business.
   Support other departments with troubleshooting and problem-solving systems.
   Confident in signing off others work, being a part of a variety of build processes and having a
  voice as part of the department management team.
   Become a key part of the departments and companies’ ongoing growth plans.
  Key Skills:
   Minimum 3 years’ experience and expertise in web development or similar is essential.
   Competent to expert level experience of the Laravel framework would be advantageous.
   Knowledge of APIs, Web Infrastructure Security, the LAMP stack, Cloudflare or similar would be
  advantageous.
   Enjoy coaching and developing others around you with knowledge and experience sharing.
   Must be able to self-organise and manage / plan your own time effectively.
   Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification preferred but not essential.
